Freelance Writing

So you want to write and get paid for it.  Where do you start?  Where can you sell your work?

Well first thing first…….

Develop your ideas.

Decide on what your interests and experiences are first.  Once you decide on this, get your ideas down on paper.

Target markets within your interests and experiences

Once you have decided what you would like to write about, then target those markets to sell your writing.  Be sure to read through their guidelines and submission process.  Some will require a query first and others will want the writing submitted upon completion.  Be sure to follow guidelines for submissions.
