Today I would like to share a tip for parents with children that love looking at the newspaper. 

Andrew is fascinated with pizza, soda and water.  Every morning he wants to look at the ads.  He can not understand that ads do not come in the newspaper everyday. 

On Sunday mornings, when the paper is filled with ads, my living room looks like a garbage pit from Andrew “looking” at all the ads. 

I took the ads and cut out pictures of all his favorites and put them into a extra photo album I had around the house…..guess what it worked!   

Now every morning when I get the newspaper, Andrew runs for his book and we sit together.  He pages through his book as I read the newspaper.  It is also a great learning tool. 

I also don’t have the garbage pit in my living room every Sunday!
