Freelance Writing

Trying to work on my book…. 

Trying is the key word here!  My life is very hectic right now.  We are in the process of moving.  The only problem is that we had to leave where we were living and our new house won’t be ready for another two weeks.  To save money we are staying with my mother in law.  Now I know what you are thinking…Oh No!  Not the mother in law, but we actually get along really well.  She is just like a mother to me. 

So what’s the problem?  Did I mention that my husband’s grandmother lives there as well?  Cute, sweet grandma…….YEAH RIGHT!!! 

We all love her to death, but she has her evil ways that drive us crazy.  And since I work from home I am with her all day.  I can forget about getting any work done!  She blasts the TV so loud that it vibrates the walls and floor, so I go out on the back porch to get some quiet and she “checks on me.”   She thinks because she is 80 years old everyone has to wait on her.  She teases my youngest son, Andrew until his screams are unbearable and she likes to start arguments between everyone. 

I really try to have patience but it is very hard.  I am behind schedule on my book.  I am counting down the days until our new home is ready…….so I can get back to work!
